The procedure for a Lash Lift

Lifting & tinting your lashes is a completely painless treatment that will not damage your lashes and has absolutely no maintence.

While you are laying comfortably on the beauty bed your lower lashes will be proctected with a moisturising under eye gel lash mask. Your top lashes will be cleaned and then pulled up onto a the silicone rod or shield depending on what look you want your lashes to have. Once the lashes have all been attached to the rod/shield and fanned out nicely the Utlimate Lifting Balm is carefully applied to your lashes. The Lifting Balm is left on your lashes between 12 - 15 minutes (this is dependant on your lashes) before being gently removed, the Ultimate Setting Balm is then applied to your lashes and left for the same length of time as the Lifting Balm once this has been removed your tint is applied.

The tint is left on your lashes for 5 minutes to work as your lashes are more porous straight after they have been lifted. Your tint is then removed, and your lashes are removed from the silicone shield and the shield is removed from your eye lids. Your lashes are then moisturised with a special Utlimate solution and then given a good brush though and you are done. Your eyes are closed throughout the entire treatment.

The full lash appointment usually takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes, which isn’t bad considering lash extensions usually take around 2 hours. The treatments doesn't hurt, but it can be very slightly uncomfortable, you will be laying down and you have to keep your eyes shut the entire time.

Aftercare
Once the treatment is over for 24 hours it is recommended that you do not get your lashes wet, or be in a steamy environment or that you wear any mascara or similar product on your lashes.
After 24 hours you can just treat your lashes as normal.

To make the lift last longer try to avoid using water proof mascara & oil based makeup removers as the oils can disrupt the lifting solution.

Allergy information
Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand.

A patch test is quick and simple. I will send you a patch test and you just need to put a little of each product behind the ear for 15 minutes. Wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching or inflammation for example.
